Work in Copilot Notebooks: Grounded, Context-Rich Project Spaces

Copilot Notebooks is Microsoft's answer to a project workspace: gather the files, pages and notes for one strand of work and let Copilot reason over just those. In two hours, build your first Notebook around real work, with answers traceable to their source.

About this seminar

When you have an ongoing piece of work — a client, a matter, a project — you do not want Copilot guessing from the whole of your organisation. You want it grounded in exactly the right set of documents. That is what Copilot Notebooks is for: Microsoft’s answer to a project workspace.

In this two-hour session you build your first Notebook around a real strand of your own work. You gather its sources — documents, pages, meeting notes, links — into one place, and let Copilot reason across just those, with answers you can trace back to the source. We compare a Notebook with an ordinary Copilot chat and with an agent, so you know which to reach for.

We also touch on Copilot Pages, the shareable canvas for content you and colleagues build together, so recurring work stays organised inside your tenant.

A note on availability: Notebooks has been a Microsoft 365 Copilot capability and is rolling out more widely to Copilot Chat from June 2026 — we work with whatever is live in your environment on the day. This session is the Microsoft counterpart to the ChatGPT Projects intensive.
